Do you teach the English classes in the student's native language?

No, We teach only in English. Studies show and our experience tells us the student will learn English quicker and better, if the student is taught in only English. We are experienced and can put what is being taught in a way so the student will understand.  I do encourage the students to have access to and use a bilingual dictionary.

What is needed?

You should have the following things to study successfully with Together English Academy:

A computer with internet access.  (required)
A messenger program such as Yahoo or Skype. (required)
Headphones with a microphone. (required)
A valid e-mail address (required)
Books and other materials as needed (required)
A pen or pencil (required)
A notebook, or a 3-ring binder. (recommended)
Have access to a bilingual dictionary (recommended)

What is your English class curriculum?

We do not have a set curriculum.
We tailor make each curriculum for the individual student. 

Our goals include to have the basics of English mastered in about 8~12 months.
Another 6-12 months is spent gaining more vocabulary, mastering English grammar, and more complex sentence structure. We do work on all 4 aspects of the English language (reading, writing, speaking and listening) from the first day. It is our goal to have a student communicating at a good level of English in 2-1/2 to 3 years.  This goal is for someone who knows a little or no English when they start and has class with us  2 to 3 years.
